This year, to celebrate Emancipation Day, we are hearing from creative leaders, artists and activists on what freedom means to them through a portrait series taken by photographer Nabra Badr. The Freedom Portraits will be exhibited at Soulpepper Theatre, Crow’s Theatre, and Canadian Stage.

Photography from Kenya Tay will be exhibited at Canadian Stage and Soulpepper Theatre.
